Predictable if nothing else. Highly amusing also.
Any time I get into a fight on cross-posted threads, sure enough a new
message appears in my guestbook.
Bang on cue this morning I got a message from "Angrie.Woman", stating "Die,
SPAMMER, DIE!".
Partly due to this, I now review the messages, so this one did not get
posted!

Kewl!
You should carry advertising on the message board so you get paid for
receiving the insults!
I occassionally get lame attempts at denials-of-service, but nothing
too worry about.

It's absolutely amazing the number of morons ready to attack someone's
business/site/personal life/employer/etc simply for having a difference
of opinion on the Net. They are keyboard commandos who'd be scared too
shitless to even open their mouth in meat space, yet they are brave
little terriers when hidden behind their computer typing anonymously.

So far:
- a person who called me angry on the phone. After a short talk
he apologised
- a person adding me to 20+ lists, forgetting that his IP
was recorded and hence lost his account
- a multipost stating I am a programmer for terrorists etc.
- yesterday: a flood of viruses [1]
Probably missed the real lame attempts
[1] not sure of this is Usenet related, it comes (came) fast for
just one domain.

I agree. One of the great shames of Usenet is it allows sad geeks to
"act big".
I like the term "keyboad commando", think I'll include that in my
slang collection.

Heck John, and you're one of the mellow, mature guys.
As someone who courts controversy I expect grief, but you don't
deserve it. Unless you really are programming for the Bush
