Is there a book or magazine article that describes use of the web amd
technologyfor local political campaigns?
I find I'm helping a couple political efforts as a walk-in volunteer
and find that the candidates and senior campaign advisors can't get
beyond using free email accounts with yahoo and very static web sites
that don't change for the entire campaign. It isn't that these people
are dumb, they are focused and they don't know me well enough to
listen if I have anything strategic to suggest.
They know about Dean, and funds donations, and email lists but have
never used them and can;t see how easy it is to set up a paypal link
on a seb site. I'm just an indian and by the time I'm involved all
the decisions have been made.
I'd love to be able to hand some of these people some literature they
could relate to.
Is there a political activism website I can learn from?
I could use ideas, myself.
Thanks.
