Mmm another from Bristol, past your shop a while back (used to go to the
post office there)

Anyhow you can produce them online at favicon.co.uk OR the best bit of
free software I have seen is Ifranview it can convert most images quite
succesfully into icons... save it as favicon.ico and upload.

You make or copy an "icon" (file extension .ico) and name it
"favicon.ico". This icon file is then placed in the root directory of
your web site (the same place where your default page - usually
index.html - is located).
