Thanks, El. I've never used Thunderbird (which he is using), so I
thought that might be some kind of artifact it had dribbled into the
wrong place on a post-and-mail send. I know that's doubtful, but my
dislike of combo news/mail clients, my doubts about combo news/mail
clients from browser houses, and the way TB loses points by apparently
not allowing scoring made me think it possible enough to ask about. I
also didn't think it likely that a user would stick his email address
into a field named "Newsgroups".

Sorry, I did attempt to send a test email to myself, but had the

newsreader open when I clicked on "write". I saw what happened as soon
as I didn't receive the email, but it was too late!
