in Amsterdam and 1 or 2 in Rotterdam. Didn't go see any of the
shows in Amsterdam (not my thing) but we walked around that area of
town. Love to go back some time...

Well, yes - can't say I'm not. But the Dutch standards wrt aren't
my own really. I do object to the display of men's magazines at kids'
eyelevel in the shops, and I think there are way too many adverts
on TV too. (can't zap my 33 channels after midnight without running
into at least 5 non-stop adverts).
Just don't call those mags . Well, some of them are of course, but
not all of them.

I've lived all my life in Rotterdam, and I love to visit Amsterdam
once in a while, but I never really go into the red light district. I
suppose tourists see it as folklore or something, but I just see it as

We thought Rotterdam was kinda smelly :) We went to some art museum
there (I can't remember what it was called) that was written up in the
guide book we had but IIRC it was a litte boring... Loved the museums

They don't. You'd think I was a fan of that program or something. The
only reason I've even seen it is because I work from home and we have a
6 month old, so my wife's been at home looking after the boy and
there's nothing much else on at that time of the afternoon!
