the IM thread was well timed for me. looks like Trillian is the winner in
this group (i use it) and skype got honorable mention (deserved).
anyone using/used video chat/conf? maybe even open source video
conferencing?

Just on Yahoo and MSN. Never tried if Trillian supports it.

To do Video with Trillian you need the reasonably priced pro version.
It works, but it's not flawless.
