Can anyone help?

I have just created text that fades in and out in flash MX

everything works fine until I test or publish the movie and then the affects are not present.

I have done this before but recently been using Flash MX where I study so Im not sure if Im doing something different or its a general problem.

PS it's not the flash player because my old SWF, files still operate perfectly.

Looks like all i needed to do was use static text instead of dynamic text and that fixed the problem..

It would probably also work with dynamic text if you had embedded the fonts. Device fonts don't like to be faded.

Cheers' ive just read that on a site and im trying to learn the difference between static and dynamic text now ;)
