In Flash MX, some graphics, imported or pasted in, which look fine in
Photoshop or in the design environment in Flash, look just slightly
stretched/distorted in unexpected places for no apparent reason at all.
There are absolutely no procedures applied to these images. Bug? Remedy?

Bug !
Try to turn of smoothing first , than make sure that images are position
with their top left corner to the instance center point .
Sometimes it helps.
