I'm created a Flash MP3 player that dynamically loads MP3 files that have been encoded by LAME. But I'm finding that for voice samples (where I compress them a lot) that below a certain point, Flash plays the file really quickly. I've concluded that Flash must have a limit to it's bitrate and sample rate that it can play.

Does anybody know exactly what these limits are?

seems to be:
bitrate: 16 kbs
sample: 11 Khz

I think it depends on the original sample rate.
I ran into the same thing if I ran below 22.
Using an original file sampled at 48
Try playing with the sample rate.
Sorry I'm not more help.
Maybe someone else knows all the convertions.
Jon
