I don't think you lie, but will you please stop calling people 'molesters'
on ADG, at least? After your abuse stories, I find it hard to believe there
are people who can be characterized as molesters in this ng.

One more thing: I've heard that saying 'no' to *becoming a molester*
usually considered harder than saying 'no' to a 'molester'. Not that either

Hi,

I wish to annoy my visitors by disabling the functionality of their
input device. Even though it can be screen grabbed, cache-grabbed,
downloaded straight, etc.., I am obviously new to this by as seen my
use of front-page. Any help would be appreciated.

Any script you put on your page can easily be hacked-overridden to grab
your images, not to mention that the images are in the viewer's temp
directory, or that the site can be screen grabbed. If you are concerned
about people copying images from your site, you may want to consider not
posting any images to your site.

Or, you can just deal with the fact that people are going to take your
images no matter what you do, and concentrate on the design of your
site.

It's a sad fact that it's expected from newcoming bands in Italy to offer up
to a year's concerts for free to their record companies as a kind of
*downpayment* for their first record...

Now even the pub circuit offers you the *possibility* of *playing for free*
in their paying locals as a matter of getting the *much needed exposure*
they need...

It's a dog-eat-dog, backstabbing, ass-licking, ignorance-driven music world
up here...

The only ones making money are the record labels... 80% of their working
force does it *for free*, from their own will, just to be able to say *I
work in show business* or to appear in TV besides their artists...

Flash trash. It's practically illegible, and finding the menu is a matter
of luck. Plus, the graphic made me wish for a can of Lysol. It's hideous.

More trash. I had to wait for the animation to download ... and on a
cable modem, that alone is the kiss of death. If I wanted to wait, I
would use my modem and dialup. After the animation finally downloaded,
there was another block of practically illegible text underneath the
"jumping with frosch" title. Underneath the illegible block was an odd,
mostly illegible user menu. Greaaaat.

Let me state this clearly:
PRETTY GRAPHICS AREN'T A SUBSTITUTE FOR GOOD DESIGN.

I just want to claw out my eyeballs after seeing sites like this. It's
like coming across a Lambhorgini Countach with no wheels and no engine -
despite the looks, it isn't going anywhere.

That's probably because you can't even imagine enjoying Motion Graphics, and
flash design,
or that you have something to begrudge to flash and web motion graphics.

I must admit you're probably not at all the target audience for those kind
of sites, therefore just analyse that fact before just killing them saying
that they suck and so on, look for the work behind them, just imagine what
the adequate target audience could feel seeing a site like that one, instead
of just saying ... fonts suck, can't find the menu, blah blah.

It seems like on many of your posts you couldn't find the menu, are you
under Lynx with a 33.6Kb Modem and a 13'' screen in 640x480 resolution ?
then i could understand that you have issues with those kind of sites.

I know some DTP apps can do this... Corel Ventura, for one, has a database
publishing module.

I am using Windows XP on a cable modem with an LCD screen at 15", and
viewing pages with Internet Explorer 6 (Flash enabled). My screen
resolution is 800x600.

There is NO SYSTEM more generic than this, IMO.

If a page doesn't "work" on my system, the so-called "designer" needs his
head examined.
